Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Club hosted a ceremony to recognise three of its members who have recently earned doctorates in different fields. Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board, emphasised that this celebration is in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who established a strategy focused on human development, prioritising education, health, and family cohesion.
Al Midfa conveyed the club's pride in its members for persevering in their educational pursuits despite numerous commitments, highlighting that their accomplishments serve as inspiration for all club members to prioritize education for the betterment of the club, the emirate, and the UAE as a whole. He emphasised that the sports sector requires individuals who are well-versed and knowledgeable to apply their academic experiences to advance the club.

Included among the honourees was Dr Tarek Jassim Al-Midfa, who received a doctorate in business administration from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. Dr. Mohammed Ishaq Al Mazmi, a member of the Investment and Commercial Development Company, earned his doctorate in international arbitration and dispute resolution from Al Bayan College. In the meantime, Dr Ibrahim Khalil Al Hosani, a member of the Football Company, obtained a doctorate in administrative law from the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University.

Mohammed Ali Al Qaseer, the club's director-general, Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Nasser Bin Afssan, the head of financial and administrative affairs, and other high-ranking officials were among the board members who attended the ceremony.
