Al Sari told Sharjah 24 that the innovative project aims to enhance the inspection process for plastic and metal materials used in construction, adhering to over 100 standard specifications.
The Smart Inspection System utilises advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and high-resolution cameras, to significantly speed up inspections, reducing result wait times from three days to just seven minutes.
Al Sari highlighted that the system focuses on various materials such as insulation, floor coverings, and plastic pipes. It monitors material behaviour under stress using high-resolution video, and AI analyses test results, providing immediate alerts if any sample exceeds permissible limits. This ensures timely decision-making, enhances product quality, and maintains safety standards in construction projects.
