Sharjah 24: Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, announced the launch of the Smart Assistant Platform for Sustainable Tourism in Sharjah during GITEX International Exhibition at the Sharjah Emirate pavilion.
Speaking to Sharjah 24, Al Midfa noted that the Authority's participation, organised by the Sharjah Digital Department, showcases the emirate's achievements, future plans, and key projects across various sectors and technologies.
He emphasised the tourism sector's vital role, contributing approximately 10% to the emirate’s non-oil GDP.
The Smart Assistant Platform offers a range of smart services, including environmental data and sustainability solutions tailored for hotels, tourism companies, and professionals in the tourism industry.
