Sharjaj24: The UAE national football team is departing for Tashkent today to prepare for their important World Cup qualifying match against Uzbekistan next Tuesday.
However, four key players—OUAME AUTONNE, Yahya Nader, Abdulrahman Saleh, and Fabio Lima—will be absent from the team. Due to accumulated yellow cards, OUAME AUTONNE is unavailable, Nader is not in peak condition, Saleh has an injury, and Lima is absent for personal reasons.
The 22-man team held a training session at New York University Abu Dhabi earlier today, before departing for Uzbekistan. Last Thursday, the team played to a 1-1 draw against North Korea at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium during their third-round match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
