Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority, and the accompanying delegation. The visit aimed to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
Also present at the meeting were Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations, his deputy Brigadier Dr. Ali Bawalzoud, and Colonel Dr. Sameh Al Halyan, Acting Director of the Strategic Management and Performance Development Department. On the Authority's side, Faisal Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Standards and Labor Market Systems, Omar Mohammed Al Salman, Director of Legal Affairs Office, and Mira Mohammed Al Midfa, Director of Strategic and Institutional Excellence Office were in attendance.
Major General Ibn Amer welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his appreciation for this visit and commending the efforts of the Labour Standards Development Authority in promoting a suitable work environment for workers that preserves their rights according to best practices. He emphasized Sharjah Police's commitment to supporting all governmental directives to achieve common goals and contribute to realizing Sharjah's future vision.
During the meeting, the Labour Standards Development Authority discussed a range of topics of mutual interest in line with the aspirations of the wise government and its future vision to adopt best practices in various aspects such as human rights, supporting the emirate's developmental process in the field of labor system development, and enhancing its economic growth.
