Salem bin Abdulrahman witnesses graduation of HCT students

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Sharjah, on Monday, which included 648 male and female graduates.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a film titled “The Path to Excellence”. Then, Dr. Faisal Alayyan, President and CEO of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), delivered a speech on behalf of the Board of Trustees, in which he expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brothers, Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, for their unlimited support of the HCT, which has enhanced its success in preparing qualitative competencies.












He stressed that youth are the energy of the future, and empowering them with science, knowledge and technological skills is the basis for comprehensive development according to the vision of the wise leadership, highlighting that today the HCT celebrates the graduation of a new group of the nation’s youth, numbering 648 male and female graduates, who have successfully completed their studies and obtained their certificates with merit, and that they are now ready to set out to contribute to development and serve the nation.

Graduate Hessa Omar Al Ali delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates, saying, “Here we are today, standing on the threshold of a new phase, to move with firm steps towards the future, inspired by the wise words of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who stressed that youth are the pillar of development and the leaders of tomorrow, so let us make this day the beginning of a never-ending success story, for the sake of the nation.”











During her speech, Al Ali expressed her thanks and appreciation to the parents who were the best support for their sons and daughters during their studies, and to the professors who provided all the academic support and guidance to the students, which contributed to their arrival at this happy moment.

After that, Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi handed over certificates to the male and female graduates, who were distributed among the specialisations of engineering, health sciences, computer information science, business, applied media, and education, and took memorial photos with them.












The graduation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mu'alla, Executive Director of Umm Al Quwain Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of Citizens Affairs Office in Ajman, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ali Ibrahim Al Marri, Chairman of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre, Dr. Faisal Alayyan, President and CEO of Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), a number of dignitaries and officials, members of the administrative and academic bodies, and parents of the graduates.
