Al Thiqah defeats Dubai for the Hearing-Impaired Futsal debut

Sharjah 24: Mohammed Al Qaid Al Hammadi, Acting Executive Director of Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled, expressed his happiness with the victory of the hearing-impaired futsal team over its counterpart, the Dubai Club for People of Determination, in a match held Sunday evening at the club's gym. He praised the players' performance in the team's first official meeting.

Success of wheelchair basketball tournament

Al Qaid commended the success of the first edition of the wheelchair basketball tournament organised by the club, stressing that it is a preparatory step for the team's participation in the league championship scheduled for the end of this month, with the aim of combining experiences and enhancing cohesion among the players.

Acknowledgement of leadership and support

He thanked the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr Khalid Al Midfa, for his continuous support. He also appreciated the presence and support of the Sharjah Sports Council and the Paralympic Committee, which reflects the keenness of the sports community to support people with disabilities.
