ELIA to organize "UAE Libraries Forum" on 9th, 10th of October

This event will feature the participation of several local and international experts in the field of libraries and information to exchange insights and experiences on the latest developments in this vital field. The forum will include numerous panel discussions that will address important topics such as preserving cultural heritage and creative content, the challenges of libraries in smart communities, as well as showcasing digital experiences in libraries and information institutions.

The forum will also include an exhibition of manuscripts showcasing the beauty of cultural heritage, along with a parallel exhibition allowing participating entities to showcase their services and innovative projects, providing an opportunity for networking and idea exchange among professionals in this sector, and sharing the latest innovations and solutions.

Fahad Al Mamari, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Library and Information Association, emphasized the importance of this forum, stating: "The first Emirati Libraries Forum reflects our deep commitment to supporting and developing libraries as centers of knowledge and culture, especially in the face of the rapid digital transformations witnessed by the world.
