Sharjah 24: Abdul Aziz Mohammed Shattaf, Assistant Director General for Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the launch of the 4th edition of the Al Dhaid Dates Festival today¸Thursday, at Expo Al Dhaid. The event features producers, retailers, date farmers, and palm owners from across the UAE, alongside live date auctions. The festival runs from October 3 to 6, aiming to showcase industries related to palm products.
Shattaf stated that event features various farms showcasing different types of dates and palm products, aimed at promoting sales and educating the public about the diverse offerings related to palm trees.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24,” Shattaf confirmed that the festival features a range of products derived from palm trees, with participation from date farmers and palm owners across the emirates. This enriches the event, offering consumers unique opportunities to explore the latest palm-related products. Additionally, live auctions on dates will allow participants to compete for the finest varieties.
