Sharjah 24: His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, announced the launch of the Sharjah Economic Council to improve direct communication with the private sector and investors.
Distinguished group of investors from the Emirate of Sharjah, along with representatives from various sectors attended the event.
Al Mahmoud told Sharjah 24 that today's discussions included various inquiries, suggestions for improvement, and challenges facing the business sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, along with potential solutions. Such meetings reinforce the emirate's investment appeal, enhance the ease of doing business, attract new investments, and support the growth of the local economy.
His Excellency Hamad Al Mahmoud noted that participants in the Sharjah Economic Council put forth several proposals aimed at enhancing various sectors to benefit the local economy. A number of observations were recorded and will be reviewed by the team at the Sharjah Economic Development Department in the coming period.
