Kholoud Al Ali, Director of the Senior Citizens Services Centre, stated that this year’s goal is to vaccinate around 2,000 individuals in their homes, with the home care team visiting each residence. The influenza vaccines, provided by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, have been available since the campaign started in 2021 and are distributed to affiliated pharmacies in Sharjah.
Al Ali emphasised the importance of the campaign in promoting the health of seniors and those with disabilities. It aims to offer free vaccinations to enhance safety and address health needs, ensuring that elderly individuals receive necessary care in their home environments.
