Sharjah 24: The Emirates Library and Information Association (ELIA) successfully concluded a specialised training course on "Scientific Research and its Methods," held in collaboration with the House of Wisdom (HoW) in Sharjah.
The four-day course, which ran from September 23 to 26, attracted employees from public libraries and government agencies and was led by Prof. Dr. Hassan Awad Al Sarihi, an expert in scientific research.
At the closing ceremony, the association thanked the House of Wisdom for its support in creating a conducive educational environment that contributed to the course's success.
Fahad Ali Al Maamari, Chairman of the ELIA, emphasised the importance of such training programmes for developing the skills of library staff and enhancing their understanding of scientific research methods.
Marwa Al Aqroubi, Executive Director of the House of Wisdom, expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting their commitment to fostering educational opportunities that strengthen community knowledge.
