Al Hamriyah team shines with 23 medals at Abu Dhabi Championship

Sharjah 24: The Al Hamriyah swimming team secured 23 medals at the Abu Dhabi Swimming Championship (short course) on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The event took place at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Sports City pool, featuring 543 swimmers from 24 clubs and academies.
The Al Hamriyah team achieved 7 gold medals, with standout performances from Hamad Al Shehhi (50m freestyle), Marwan Omar (100m breaststroke), Youssef Khader (overall over 16 years), Athar Mustafa (50m breaststroke), and Yahya Mustafa (50m and 100m butterfly).

They also earned 6 silver medals, with Hamad Al Shehhi (100m freestyle), Youssef Khader (100m breaststroke), Abdullah Hassan (50m and 100m breaststroke), and Ziad Fouad (100m freestyle and 200m butterfly) contributing.

The team claimed 10 bronze medals, awarded to Hamad Al Shehhi (50m butterfly), Mohammed Al Muhairi (100m breaststroke), Ahmed Magdy (50m butterfly), Youssef Salah (50m backstroke), Hassan Al Shehhi (100m freestyle), Athar Islam (100m breaststroke), Yahya Mustafa (50m breaststroke), Abdul Rahman Rashad (100m and 200m freestyle), and Ahmed Alaa (100m backstroke).
