Sharjah 24: Maryam Al Dahmani, Acting Director of Kalba Nursery, confirmed that the nursery’s capacity has been increased to include 155 children of different age groups, after the completion of the expansion project of its classrooms, which include 8 classrooms.
In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the expansion project of Kalba Nursery, affiliated with Sharjah Education Academy, has been completed.
Maryam Al Dahmani, Acting Director of the Nursery, said that at the beginning of September, the first phase of children enrolled in the nursery was received, while preparations are underway to receive children in the second phase, bringing the total number of children in the nursery to 155 boys and girls.
She explained in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the nursery provides care and education services for children up to four years old, distributed over 8 classrooms, under the supervision of a distinguished staff that includes an elite group of qualified teachers and supervisors who specialise in the field of care and education.
Al Dahmani pointed out that the nursery follows the latest modern educational curricula and theories, and enjoys high-quality facilities that comply with international standards, including classrooms, workshop corners, and entertainment facilities that meet the needs of children at different age levels.
