Sharjah 24: Hussein Al Mahmoudi, CEO of the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP), stated that the Women in Technology Forum aims to empower women and encourage their participation in fields such as artificial intelligence and modern technologies across a variety of industries, including transportation, sustainability, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.
He said that the meeting attracts participants from a variety of sectors, including business, public, and academic institutions.
In remarks to "Sharjah 24," Al Mahmoudi stated that the conference intends to motivate women to start their own enterprises. He emphasised the park's important role in supporting women, with more than half of its staff being female.
He was proud to have Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi as chairperson of the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, who met with various remarkable women from across the world during the forum.
A prominent collection of scholars, professionals, representatives from worldwide organisations, advocates for women's empowerment, entrepreneurs, directors of government agencies, and civil society leaders attended the event.
