Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club has secured the top position for the Best Creative Initiative among the sports and specialised clubs in Sharjah. The club achieved a notable joint third place alongside Al Bataeh Sports Club in the overall standings of sports clubs within the Emirate of Sharjah, as part of the 10th edition of the Sharjah Sports Summer Program, “Our Holiday is Different" for 2024.
The announcement took place during the closing ceremony of the "Our Holiday is Different" summer program, held yesterday morning at the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA). His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Chairman of the Events Committee, were in attendance at the event, in the presence of several dignitaries.
The recent the win highlights the dedication and backing of the Sharjah Sports Council in facilitating these yearly events. The initiative seeks to promote cultural and social sports activities within the emirate while offering youth valuable opportunities to hone their skills.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, commended the club's achievement and highlighted the committee's key role in securing this success. He stressed that these initiatives align with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The Sharjah Sports Council's contribution to fostering healthy competition among the emirate's clubs and promoting cultural values was also recognised, highlighting its commitment to harnessing the potential of youth annually.
Dr. Al Mutawa also confirmed the contributions of the Sharjah Sports Council in promoting healthy competition among clubs in the emirate and in strengthening cultural values through its progressive vision.
