Chairman of Mleiha municipal council visits the Handball team

Sharjah 24: As part of the final preparations for the participation of the Mleiha Men's Handball Club team, in the upcoming Arab Handball Championship in Kuwait, the Chairman of Mleiha Municipal Council, Sultan Ali Saif Ali Al Ketbi, visited, on Thursday, the team at its training headquarters.
The visit comes within the continuous support provided by the Municipal Council to Mleiha Club and its sports team, especially during the external representation of the UAE and emphasising the importance of the championship that will be launched in the State of Kuwait.

During the visit, Sultan Ali Saif Ali Al Ketbi expressed his great support for the team, praising the distinguished level presented by the players during the past period.

Al Ketbi stressed that the participation is a golden opportunity to raise the flag of the UAE high at the Arab level and enhance its position in the field of handball.

The visit was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Club, His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Khasouni Al Ketbi, who in turn thanked and appreciated the Chairman of the Municipal Council for his interest and support. 

Mohammed Sultan said that support and encouragement of the Chairman of the Municipal Council enhances the team spirit and motivates the players to achieve outstanding results in the tournament, and he was confident that joint efforts will result in great success in Kuwait, and provide an honourable representation of Emirati sports.

The visit also included the presence of the head of the mission, Salem bin Jarsh, member of the Board of Directors; and Abdul Rahman Muhair, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Media Committee. 

Bin Jarsh expressed his pride in the team's presence in the Arab Championship, praising the serious preparations made by the players and the technical staff.

Abdul Rahman Muhair stressed the importance of media coverage of the tournament, noting that the team will receive extensive media support to convey the details of its participation to the public.

All attendees stressed that the club will do its utmost to achieve the best results in the tournament, and enhance the reputation of Mleiha Club and Emirati sports on the Arab level.

They pointed out that players are well prepared and their morale is high, and they are determined to provide a strong performance befitting the name of the UAE.

It is worth noting that the Arab Handball Championship will start in the State of Kuwait on the 15th of September and will continue for ten days, as Mleiha Club team aspires to achieve positive results that reflect the great development that the game has witnessed throughout the past period.
