Sharjah24: His Excellency Khaled Issa Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club Board, welcomed the national team duo and Sharjah Club table tennis players, brothers Ahmed and Mohamed Saeed Al-Musaibi, who recently won three medals with the national team at the West Asian Championships.
The duo led the UAE team to a gold medal in the under-13 doubles category and a silver medal in the under-15 category at the tournament held in Amman, Jordan, last August.

His Excellency Khaled Issa Al-Midfa stated, "This achievement is no surprise to the children of Sharjah, who consistently achieve excellent results and raise the country's name, thanks to the vision and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi,  Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who pays great attention to our athletes and provides them with unlimited support to raise the flag of the nation in various arenas."

The Chairman emphasized the need for the players to maintain their achievements and continue delivering outstanding results, expressing gratitude to the Individual Sports Management for their efforts and reaffirming the board's confidence in all club players to achieve the best results.

Engineer Suleiman Abdulrahman Al-Hajri, board member and head of individual sports, noted that these players represent the future of table tennis at the club and the UAE team, praising the results the brothers have consistently achieved in all competitions. He highlighted the significant role played by the Sharjah Sports Council through its ambitious "Talent Development" program.

Al-Hajri added, "External competitions for players make a difference, enhancing their experience and significantly improving their skills. The Sharjah Sports Council has made a clear impact in this area, contributing immensely to developing skilled players who can compete against all athletes." He mentioned that the Individual Sports Management's plans aim to develop all athletes across various sports.

He also commended the efforts of the UAE Table Tennis Federation in enhancing players' levels through international participation, praising the role of the players' father for his constant support and creating a conducive environment for them.
