Sharjah 24: Mariam Karim, a national athletics team runner, has qualified for the 400m final at the Arab Junior Championship for Boys and Girls, currently taking place in Saudi Arabia.
Karim led the qualifying rounds with a time of 57.71 seconds, surpassing 9 other runners.
The championship, hosted in Taif from September 12 to 15, features around 400 athletes from 18 countries.
Tomorrow, Salem Al Muqbali will compete in discus throw, Salma Al Marri in shot put, Mohammed Ahmed Al Musabi in the 800m final, and Maryam Al Farsi in the 100m final.
