Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Football Club recently hosted a special reception for the young players of its Football Academy to celebrate their return to training.
The event was attended by the club’s chairman, Mohammed Abdullah Al Hamoudi. Held at the club’s headquarters last evening, the celebration saw enthusiastic participation from the club’s board members and first-team players, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere for the young athletes and their families.
The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Al Hamoudi, who expressed his delight at seeing the players back in training and highlighted the significance of this stage in their development as athletes. He pointed out that the event reflects the insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who advocates for fostering a strong, unified generation of athletes.
Al Hamoudi elaborated that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan’s vision, symbolised by the motto "My children, and I protect them," underscores a commitment to nurturing a generation with strong sporting and ethical values, viewing the youth as the true hope for the nation's future. He reaffirmed that Dibba Al-Hisn Club is dedicated to this vision by providing comprehensive support to young athletes and creating a unique training environment that enhances their skills and promotes teamwork and commitment.
The event featured a variety of fun and educational activities, including friendly matches between youth teams and sports workshops led by the coaches. The young players also had the opportunity to showcase their talents, bringing energy and encouragement to the gathering.
