SDAD participates in IGCF 2024

The participation of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs in the International Government Communication Forum marks a crucial milestone in the development and improvement of communication strategies with the community.

During the inaugural day, the Department has planned three insightful discussion sessions that are in line with its objective of fostering stronger social connections, as per the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

During the second day, the Department will be hosting three more discussion sessions.

Commenting on this, Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Suburbs Affairs Department, expressed his excitement for participating in the forum, highlighting the significance of the International Government Communication Forum as a platform for sharing knowledge and expertise in government communication. He also emphasised the importance of fostering effective communication between the government and the community.

He added that the discussion sessions that the  SDAD organise are designed to delve into the various issues and possibilities, with the goal of achieving favorable results that enhance the connection between the SDAD’s councils and the community in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Kabouri expressed confidence that these participations would enhance cooperation and communication with all parties involved, supporting the goals of improving government communication methods and strengthening social bonds. This aligns with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to serve the Department's policies in developing communication frameworks with the community and families in various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.
