Sharjah 24: Dr. Huda Al Naqbi, Director of the Student Affairs Department at the University of Khorfakkan (UKF), confirmed that the university devotes all its capabilities to providing an ideal academic environment for new students in different colleges, at the beginning of the academic year 2024-2025.
UKF organised, on Thursday, the first welcoming meeting for new students, to introduce the work and study system on campus, colleges and academic courses.
Dr. Huda Al Naqbi said that celebrating new students is one of the traditions that the university is keen on annually, and it is the first communication between new students and members of the administrative and academic bodies at the university.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Dr. Huda Al Naqbi said that the meeting aims to introduce the services provided by the university to students in different colleges, from the first year until graduation, noting that all capabilities are harnessed to provide the ideal academic environment for students.
Al Naqbi pointed out that the meeting included a welcome speech by Professor Dr. Ali Hilal Al Naqbi, Director of the University, and Professor Dr. Suleiman Mahmoud, Deputy for Academic Affairs. The meeting also included the delivery of papers and cards for admission to the university to students.
Al Naqbi added that UKF includes the colleges of Arts, Sciences and Information Technology, Marine Sciences, Business Administration, and Sharia and Law.
