Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) commemorated Emirati Women's Day as part of national events, honouring their female colleagues' achievements.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, underlined that dedicating a day to commemorate Emirati women is more than just a recognition; it reflects the wise leadership's belief in and appreciation for the critical role women play in the nation's progress.

This year's ceremony, themed "We Collaborate for Tomorrow," recognised Emirati women's pioneering roles and substantial accomplishments, particularly in security and community service.

Senior officials and other female leaders attended the ceremony, as did a considerable number of Sharjah Police female military and civilian members.

According to Major General Al Shamsi, female Sharjah Police officers, both military and civilian, serve as a role model for Emirati women, demonstrating dedication and excellence in their duties while rising through various ranks and leadership positions as a result of their commitment to improving their scientific and academic qualifications in all aspects of police work.

Their contributions have improved the quality of life in the community and aided the police department's national objective.

The celebration also featured a distinguished exhibition showcasing the creativity of Emirati female entrepreneurs, as well as a special section for traditional crafts, with the goal of reviving the UAE's rich heritage through displays of traditional handmade items reflecting the country's authenticity and cultural identity.

During the event, Major General Al Shamsi recognised Brigadier General Amina Bakhit Al Shawq for her substantial efforts and dedication, which have greatly contributed to the Sharjah Police's excellence and leadership on all fronts, and wished her further success.
