Sharjah24: Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, announced that SCHS's new building in Al Barashi area has started welcoming students for the new academic year at Al Wafaa School and Autism Center. This marks the initial phase of SCHS's relocation, comprising the administration building, Al Wafaa School, and Autism Center. Subsequent phases will involve the transfer of all affiliated centers to the new premises.
Al Yafei stated that the new building has accommodated 1,492 students at Al Wafaa School and Autism Center. The design of the buildings focuses on creating an integrated educational and rehabilitation environment tailored to meet the students' diverse needs, with the overarching objective of enhancing their capabilities and life skills.

She emphasized the critical role of education and rehabilitation in empowering individuals with special needs and facilitating their seamless integration into society. Notably, the new building is equipped with cutting-edge technologies and facilities aimed at fulfilling this objective.
