SEC’s HR Committee convenes meeting with its restructured team

Sharjah24: The inaugural meeting of the Higher Committee for Human Resources of the Sharjah Executive Council with its reconstituted membership took place on Monday, August 26. The committee was chaired by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, who serves as a Member of the Executive Council, Director of the Human Resources Department, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Human Resources.
The following individuals attended the meeting: Abdullah Mohammed Salem Al Owais, Member of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Culture - Vice Chairman of the Committee; Ali Salem Al Midfa, Member of the Executive Council and Chairman of Sharjah International Airport Authority; Dr. Mansour Mohammed bin Nassar, Member of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Government Legal Department; Asma Rashid Sultan bin Taliah, Secretary General of the Executive Council; Salah Salem Al Mahmoud, Director General of the Sharjah Archives; Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority; Majid Hamad Khalfan Al Marri, Director of the Human Resources Department; and Haitham Khaled Shahil Al Qahtani, Legal Advisor and Acting Director of the Human Resources Systems Department at the Human Resources Department.

The meeting commenced by underscoring the significance of the committee's forthcoming roles. It delved into several key government human resources topics specific to Sharjah that were on the agenda. This encompassed a discussion on pertinent laws and regulations pertaining to human resources, alongside an examination of the challenges confronting government entities in this domain. The aim was to align with the evolving landscape and growth observed across diverse agencies.

The Chairman of the Committee, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, emphasized the critical need for seamless coordination and collaboration among all relevant stakeholders to accomplish the intended objectives. He also highlighted the necessity to modernize and enhance policies and procedures in alignment with the overarching vision and comprehensive strategy of Sharjah.

He expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of the team members and their cohesive approach to effectively and transparently discuss pertinent issues. Their aim is to devise pioneering solutions that improve the efficiency and efficacy of human resources management in the emirate. He emphasized the committee's commitment to holding regular meetings to monitor the implementation of recommendations and decisions, ensuring the attainment of common objectives and the ongoing enhancement of the government work environment in Sharjah.
