Sharjah 24 Hamad Salem bin Hamouda Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club, along with the other Board members, welcomed Sheikha Hind bint Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Qasimi, President of the Board of Directors of Emirates Business Women Council. The visit was an opportunity to showcase the progress of the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme, specifically highlighting its fifth week themed "Our Unique Holiday – I am a Volunteer."
During the visit, the club's newly opened public library was also introduced. The library stands out with its unique style and distinctive design, catering to the literary, cultural, scientific, and social needs of the community.
Sheikha received a comprehensive briefing from Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club about the club's various activities, events, and its sports, cultural, and community programmes. He emphasised that all the achievements made over these few years are a result of divine blessings and the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
During her visit, Sheikha Hind toured the club’s facilities and explored the Sharjah Summer Sports programmes hosted at the club.
At the conclusion of her visit, Sheikha Hind Al Qasimi expressed her gratitude to everyone involved at Al Bataeh Club for their dedicated efforts. She extended her best wishes for continued success and progress to the club, its board of directors, and its athletes in all sports, cultural, and social competitions, both within the UAE and internationally, under the leadership of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
