Sharjah 24: His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, presented, on Monday, the “Journey of Giving” workshop for the members of the Sharjah Sports Summer “Our Holiday is Different” at the club.
His Excellency said that the workshop is part of the agenda of the fifth and final week of the Sharjah Sports Summer, which carries the theme "I am a Volunteer."
His Excellency stressed that the goal of the workshop revolves mainly around instilling the culture of volunteering and adopting it as a lifestyle for young people, due to its important role in providing a helping hand to others.
The participants interacted with the workshop, as it included human values that encourage volunteering and charitable work with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the needy and affected.
The programme also included a volunteer campaign, as well as sports, water games and recreational activities.
