Sharjah 24: Today, Monday, July 15, 2024, marked the start of the third week of Sharjah's sports summer "Our Distinguished Holiday" at Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, with the theme of "National Identity."
The organisers have scheduled events to enhance national belonging, such as "Express Your Love for Your Country," "The UAE: Past and Present," and workshops on "Our Culture and Traditions."
The day's schedule also included leisure and sporting activities, such as participating in sports, swimming, and using a soap football pitch.
Eng. Ali Al Muhairi, Board Member of Al Hamriyah Club and Head of the Organising Committee for "Our Distinguished Holiday," highlighted that the programme corresponds with the national identity, which serves as the slogan for the third week of Sharjah's sports summer.
Al Muhairi stated that attendees may expect a week full of events and seminars similar to the preceding two weeks and expressed gratitude to the Sharjah Sports Council for managing the organization of "Our Distinguished Holiday" until August 1, 2024.
