Dibba Al Hisn Club concludes Sustainability Week activities

Sharjah24: The fourth week of summer activities, "Our Holiday is Different," organised by Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council, concluded with a focus on "Sustainability" on Thursday evening.
The club showcased its versatility by hosting a diverse range of cultural, sports, and entertainment events, all of which were met with admiration from the attendees.

A workshop titled "Emergency Evacuation Plan within the Club" was held at the club's theatre. Ahmed Abdullah Al Qaseeb Al Naqbi, the Head of the Events Committee at Dibba Al Hisn Club, supervised the workshop.

The workshop was conducted by Mohammed Rushoud, a member of the club’s cultural committee, emphasizing the significance of instructing members on how to respond in emergency situations to guarantee their safety and the safety of others.

The workshop covered an overview of different types of accidents and potential fires, evacuation procedures, as well as the identification of exit routes and assembly points.

A practical evacuation exercise was conducted from the club’s theatre and gymnasium, demonstrating the club's commitment to safety. The 'Growth and Giving'Sustainability Intelligence Games were held inside the indoor hall to enhance awareness of sustainability concepts.

In a formal statement, Ahmed Abdullah Al Qasib Al Naqbi expressed that the success of the events is indicative of the club's dedication to establishing an educational and captivating environment centered on sustainability. The club takes pride in its endeavors to educate children on responding to emergencies, cultivating their skills through interactive activities, and looks ahead to perpetuating such beneficial programs in the future.
