The signing ceremony at the Foundation's Sharjah headquarters was attended by Moza Al Shamsi, the Foundation's Director, and Mai Al Ameri, Deputy Director of the Sharjah Women's Sports Club, alongside department heads and several officials.
Burjeel Specialty Hospital was represented at the MoU signing by Bruno D'Souza, Chief Operating Officer for Dubai and the Northern Emirates at Burjeel Holding, Ali Al Falasi, Director of Government Relations for Dubai and the Northern Emirates at Burjeel Holding, and Yahya Saleh Kayed, Director of Operations at Burjeel Specialty Hospital Sharjah. They were accompanied by several officials from various hospital departments.
Signed amidst a celebratory ambiance, the memorandum aims to enhance collaboration in preventive health measures for sports injuries. It also includes plans for organising medical conferences and conducting joint scientific studies in the fields of medicine and sports sciences. Additionally, the agreement allows the institution and its members to benefit from the hospital's services and discounts, while the hospital gains exposure to a wider audience through promotion of its exceptional health services.
The memorandum serves as a framework aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two sides, enhancing health opportunities for female players, as well as all female employees and workers associated with both the institution and the Sharjah Women's Sports Club.
Moza Al Shamsi expressed her happiness in her speech preceding the signing ceremony, highlighting the significance of partnering with Burjeel Hospital due to its esteemed reputation in the healthcare industry and its outstanding services benefiting both sports and public health sectors.
Bruno D’Souza emphasised the significance of the partnership between Burjeel Hospital and the Foundation. He highlighted the Foundation’s esteemed local and regional standing and its pivotal role in advancing women’s sports. Bruno expressed optimism that this collaboration would mutually benefit both the Foundation and the hospital, contributing to the attainment of their respective goals.
