Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Summer Events “Our Holiday is Extraordinary” at Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club continue to shine in the third week under the theme “National Identity” as part of the activities carried out last night.
Attending the workshop and events were Ahmed Abdullah Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Events Committee at Dibba Al-Hisn Club, and Mohammed Ali Al-Zhouri, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Activities Committee at the club.

Activities in the indoor hall included traditional games, ball games, swimming, water games, and inflatable boats.

An entertainment trip was organised to the Sharjah Heritage Museum, located in the heart of the old Sharjah area. The museum showcases the heritage and history of the Emirate of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates. It offers visitors the chance to learn about local customs and traditions, handicrafts, and traditional tools used in daily life.

Participants of the summer activity at Dibba Al-Hisn Club also visited Al Noor Island, a cultural and recreational destination located in Khalid Lagoon, Sharjah. The island is known for its unique design and includes many attractions and activities suitable for all ages, such as the Butterfly House, art sculptures, illuminated pathways, and an outdoor theatre.

A workshop titled “Optimal Use of the Internet” was held at the club’s theatre, presented by Lieutenant Abdullah Al-Naqbi from Dibba Al-Hisn Police Station. He discussed how to use the internet safely, emphasising its importance in our current time, where it enables people of all ages and fields to improve their digital skills and interact effectively and safely online.
