The workshop aimed to educate the children and participants about the risks of bullying and the methods of prevention in the community in general, and in playgrounds and clubs in particular.
The workshop included an awareness lecture and practical exercises to enhance the participants' understanding of how to prevent bullying cases. It was presented by the Sharjah Police members , and the participants were introduced to ways of preventing bullying.
This workshop is part of a variety of activities provided by the Dibba Al-Hisn Club to discover the participants' energies and develop their talents in various fields, embodying the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the importance of attracting and nurturing the youth.
The club's mosque also witnessed a workshop on reading, recitation, and interpretation of short Quranic chapters under the slogan "With My Recitation of the Quran, I Elevate My Life", aiming to teach the participants the correct rules of recitation and deepen their understanding of the meanings and connotations of the short Quranic chapters, and to establish Islamic values in the minds of the participants.
The day also included a variety of sports and recreational games such as swimming, water games, and badminton, in addition to the club's participation in the Sports Day in the Eastern Region at the Khorfakkan Club, with the participation of Dibba Al-Hisn, Khorfakkan, and Kalba clubs.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized the importance of the summer activity and its role in qualifying generations on values and ethics, and strengthening the community and behavioral values among members of society, to become part of the contemporary Emirati personality.
