Sharjah 24: In the presence of Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Matou, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Club's Board of Directors, the Sharjah Sports Summer Activities Committee "Our Holiday is Different," led by Ahmed Abdullah Al Nuqbi, held a comprehensive meeting on Monday to review the accomplishments of the initial week of summer activities.
Throughout the week, 896 participants joined the programme, and the varied activities drew considerable interest from diverse age groups, successfully captivating both children and youth.
The meeting commenced with welcoming remarks from the Chairman of the Sharjah Summer Activities Committee at Dibba Al Hisn Club, who praised the efforts made and expressed deep gratitude to everyone involved in organising and ensuring the success of the summer activities. He applauded the dedicated efforts of the team, emphasising that their commitment and hard work were pivotal to the achieved success.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the agenda for the programme's second week, which includes popular games, competitions, cultural and educational activities, and recreational outings. Challenges encountered by the team in the first week were also discussed and presented to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, who commended the achieved success and highlighted the significant efforts of the organising committee and the productive collaboration with all stakeholders. He affirmed his commitment to providing necessary resources and solutions to address the challenges discussed, thereby enhancing the success of "Sharjah Summer, Our Holiday is Different" and reinforcing Sharjah's reputation as a preferred summer destination.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed gratitude for the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and noted that His Highness's initiatives reflect a dedication to creating an ideal environment for the growth, development, and prosperity of the people of Sharjah.
