Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International has made public its initiative to accept contributions from individuals interested in supporting the installation of 10 electric wells in Bangladesh as part of the activities during the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
According to Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Ali, the Director of Project Management and External Aid, the aim is to gather 99,500 dirhams to ensure access to clean drinking water in remote areas of Bangladesh facing severe water scarcity. This will involve the drilling of 10 electric wells in these regions, addressing the daily need for sustainable access to clean water, thus aligning with the association's long-term vision of sustainable charitable endeavours.
Al Ali encourages potential donors to utilise the association's accessible donation channels, including online platforms and mobile payment options like credit cards and digital wallets. Additionally, manual contributions can be facilitated through contacting the association's representatives.
Emphasising careful site selection for well installation, Al Ali highlights the importance of maximising community benefit. The association pledges ongoing maintenance and necessary support through its regional offices and partnerships, aiming for uninterrupted water supply throughout the year. This initiative, integrated into Dhul-Hijjah activities, underscores the association's commitment to improving living conditions and fostering environmental sustainability by addressing water scarcity issues in the region.
