Sharjah24: The livestock market management in Al Dhaid, Kalba, and Khorfakkan have prepared diligently to welcome visitors during Eid Al Adha. They have devised a comprehensive plan to ensure the highest standards and services, catering to the needs of the residents and visitors in the region. Their aim is to efficiently and effectively fulfill the requirements of all those who come to the markets.
"Talal Mohammed, the Director of the Central Region Markets Department, assured that the livestock market in Al Dhaid is fully equipped to welcome the people and visitors of the region during Eid Al Adha. He emphasized that the market is committed to providing high-quality and specialized services to meet their needs efficiently. This will be ensured by a well-integrated team and a competent technical staff, including doctors, veterinarians, and inspectors from the municipality of Al Dhaid. They will collaborate with the General Command of Sharjah Police, Sharjah Ambulance, and Sanad Integrated Facilities Management Company. The market is also prepared with advanced techniques and equipment for slaughter and has set up a waiting tent furnished with all necessary amenities to serve the visitors."

Al Dhaid Market working hours during Eid Al Adha:
The slaughterhouse operates during the first day from 6:15 am to 2:30 pm, on the second day from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and on the third day from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Cows and camels are received and slaughtered after 11:00 am, with a limit of 7 sacrifices per individual on the first and second day of Eid. The carcasses are cut into 8 pieces in the Arab style, excluding the entrails, legs, skin, and head. If a customer requests the head, it will be delivered without cleaning.

Livestock markets in Kalba and Khorfakkan:
Hilal Al Naqbi, the Director of Livestock Markets in Kalba and Khorfakkan, has stated that they have devised a comprehensive operational strategy to ensure the delivery of top-notch services that cater to the public's needs during the auspicious Eid Al Adha period. This plan has been developed in collaboration with the Municipality of Khorfakkan and Kalba, the Eastern Region Administration Police, and the Sanad Integrated Facilities Management Company.

Al Naqbi stated that the slaughterhouse can process 100 sheep per hour and 15 cows and camels per hour. They have also increased the number of butchers by 100% to ensure smooth operations and have stationed veterinarians to monitor the animals' health.

As for the mechanism for receiving customers, we organised the process of visitors entering the market, as we allocated a path for customers coming directly to the slaughterhouse and a special path for visitors heading towards the barns. Integrated work teams are also in the field during the blessed Eid Al Adha period to guide the sacrifices smoothly. The customer’s journey begins by heading to the collection area and paying the required fees, after which the sacrifice is numbered and received from the customer. The customer is then informed to wait in the designated tent until our work team informs the customer that his sacrifice is ready for delivery Al Naqbi said.
