Sharjah24: Majid Al Junaid, CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative Society (SCS) proudly announced that the Creators Union of Arab (CUA), an esteemed consultative member at the United Nations Economic and Social Council, honoured the Society with the prestigious "Economic Creativity Medal", in recognition of their remarkable performance.
The Society's wide range of successful initiatives and efforts in economic, social, cultural, charitable, humanitarian, environmental, educational, and medical sectors have earned them this recognition. These actions align with the United Nations' guidelines for promoting sustainable development goals.
Al Junaid expressed his sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unwavering support. He also commended Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his diligent supervision of the Sharjah Cooperative Society.
Al Junaid highlighted the efforts of the Sharjah Cooperative Society in promoting social responsibility and driving economic growth in the Emirati community for the past 48 years, with the aim of achieving sustainable development goals. In a recent statement, the individual highlighted that receiving this prestigious recognition provides a strong motivation to persistently pursue excellence, foster innovation, and attain further accomplishments in the future.
Concluding his remarks, he extended his heartfelt thanks to the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Cooperative Society, as well as the dedicated employees and various government agencies and institutions whose invaluable contributions played a pivotal role in this remarkable achievement.
