Sharjah 24: Sharjah Press Club (SPC), which operates under the umbrella of Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), within its 13th Ramadan Majlis, organized, on Tuesday, a religious lecture, at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, under the title “Religion is in the treatment of others”, presented by His Eminence Professor Dr. Muhammad Al Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al Azhar Al Sharif, in the presence of His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director-General of SGMB, Her Excellency Alia Bu Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of SGMB, Asma Al Juwaied, Director of SPC, and the Majlis audience.

His Eminence the Undersecretary of Al Azhar Al conveyed the greetings and pride of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Al Sharif, in the Emirate of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

The lecture underlined the virtue of kindness and tolerance among people and its status in the Islamic Sharia through the Book of God texts and the Sunnah of the Prophet, as a foundation and cornerstone in relationships between human beings of different religions and races, whereas Islam is the religion of mercy, kindness, good advice, and good morals.

 His Eminence the Undersecretary of Al Azhar Al Sharif stressed that the goal of good morals is not to memorise religious texts, but rather to transform them into an established trait in the human soul that is represented and reflected in the individual’s actions and behaviours and to be guided by the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.

His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay presented a memorial shield at the end of the lecture to His Eminence Professor Dr. Muhammad Al Duwaini, and a shield was also presented to Sharjah Cooperative Society, sponsor of the prizes presented to attendees of the second Ramadan session.

In the first session of the Ramadan Majlis, a shield was presented to Sharjah National Hotels (SNH), sponsor of the prizes presented to attendees of the sports session.

SPC will hold its 13th Ramadan Majlis sessions from March 18 to 21 after Tarawih prayers at Al Majaz Amphitheatre. Attendees have a daily opportunity to win valuable prizes. The Majlis sessions are also accompanied by a range of interactive activities.

 The third session, held, on Wednesday, will host His Excellency Mohammed Juma Al Musharrakh, CEO of Sharjah FDI Office “Invest in Sharjah”; Fadi Ghandour, founder of Aramex and Chairman of Wamda; and Nawal Al Nuaimi, Emirati entrepreneur. The session will be moderated by media personality Dr. Abdul Salam Al Hammadi, under the title “Success in Entrepreneurship... Idea and Application”.
