EPAA organises closing ceremony of 12th SSA

Sharjah24: Her Excellency Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah (EPAA) recently revealed the successful completion of the 12th Sharjah Sustainability Award (SSA). The prestigious event recognised outstanding institutions, as well as talented students from schools and universities, during a grand ceremony held at the Al Qasimia University Theatre. The event was centred around the theme "Together Towards a Green and Sustainable Environment."
The event showcased the gathering of respected researchers and experts in the field of the environment, emphasising the significance of environmental innovations and the need to promote sustainable projects.

In an interview with "Sharjah24," Her Excellency highlighted that the ceremony honoured the achievements of 30 outstanding projects in the fields of education, including schools, universities, and institutions. These projects included a wide range of environmental solutions and initiatives focused on promoting sustainability and preserving natural resources.

She emphasized the crucial role of innovations in achieving environmental balance and supporting local and global efforts to address environmental challenges. She underscored the significance of these awards in inspiring young individuals and organisations to actively participate in environmental preservation.
