Sharjah Academy Elevates Arabic with Admin Training

Sharjah24 : In its ongoing efforts to elevate the status of the Arabic language and support its use in various aspects of life, the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah organised a specialised training course on "Administrative Correspondence." Over the course of two days at the Community Library, 20 employees from various governmental institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah participated.
The course concluded with the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, the Director-General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy, and Dr. Mohamed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, who presented certificates of attendance and participation to the participants.

The course was delivered by Dr. Akhdar Al-Akhdari and Dr. Bahaa Al-Din Adel Dandis, researchers at the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy, who explored the principles of drafting administrative correspondence and its skills in a scientific and practical manner. The course included exercises on writing official letters, focusing on rhetorical and eloquent techniques that add professionalism to the written content. Additionally, participants were introduced to the important rules of grammar and spelling that should be observed when writing administrative correspondence to ensure accuracy and clarity, alongside reviewing practical examples of professionally written letters.
Administrative correspondence is a cornerstone of success in governmental work. Dr. Al Mosteghanemi, the Secretary-General of the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy, emphasised the importance of this initiative, embodying the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah
, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy, in consolidating the position of the Arabic language as a fundamental pillar in societal and institutional development. He noted that the course reflects the commitment to making Arabic the language of science, knowledge, and administration.

Administrative correspondence is a professional bridge for effective and constructive communication and represents one of the most important components of success in governmental work. A precisely written message opens up broad avenues for cooperation between governmental entities, enhances their work, and also promotes opportunities for innovation and excellence in the workplace. The Arabic language, with its beauty and richness, is a powerful tool for influence, enabling the message to reach the recipient's mind and heart smoothly and clearly.

Participants in the "Administrative Correspondence" course expressed their appreciation for the knowledge gained, which shed light on various aspects of the art and history of administrative correspondence.
