Sharjah 24: The Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club confirmed its continued support to players from all teams, to represent the club in all participations and championships, and to prove their ability to succeed.
This came during the club’s honouring of the men’s handball team and the under-12 football team for the 2023/2024 sports season, in a ceremony organised on Wednesday.
The honouring included the men's handball team, which achieved fifth place at the UAE level as the best ranking in the club's history, in addition to the 12-year-old football team.
The ceremony was attended at the club’s headquarters by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ali Mohammed Ali Yaroof Al Naqbi, Secretary General; Ahmed Abdullah Ali Al Qassib Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; Obaid Saeed Ali Khamis Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the First Football Team Committee; Muhammad Ali. Mohammed Ali Al Dhahouri, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Activities Committee; and Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al Amel Al Yahyaei, Chairman of the Group Games Committee.
Dr. Al Mutawa considered that the distinguished results achieved by the different teams in the club are a natural result of the great efforts of the administrators, technicians and players, pointing out that the club is looking forward to following up on more results next season according to a strategy aimed at competing for all titles.
Dr. Al Mutawa was keen to distribute souvenirs to everyone.
