Sharjah24: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Theater Department of the Department of Culture announced during a press conference the launch of the final stage of the 11th edition of the Sharjah School Theatre Festival.

Fawagee Al-Fardan, the events coordinator at the Theater Department of the Department of Culture , stated that the Sharjah School Theatre Festival unveiled that 15 schools from different parts of the Emirate qualify for the final stage including 5 schools from the central region, 5 from Sharjah City, and 5 from the eastern region. The theater performances will take place between May 13th and May 16th, and the winners will be announced on the final day, Thursday, May 16th.

Al-Fardan explained in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the competitive awards include prizes for writing, directing, and acting, in addition to the Sharjah Award for School Theatrical Writing, which witnessed the participation of several authors from the UAE, Gulf countries, and residents in the region.
