The event was attended by the Chairman and members of Dibba Al Hisn Council, members of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) and the municipality of the city of Dibba Al Hisn, a number of directors of government departments and institutions, notables of the city, and the citizens, residents and visitors.
Dibba Al Hisn Council was keen to organise Eid celebration inviting the community, and providing hospitality drinks, fruits, and dinner after the Maghrib prayer on the first day of Eid.
The Eid Fawala initiative is one of the customs and traditions that the Council was keen to organise by inviting families and reviving those customs based on its social role in promoting rapprochement between families and enhancing social cohesion during the days of Eid. The Council was also keen to introduce families and their children to Emirati customs in welcoming Eid Al Fitr.
His Excellency Suleiman bin Jumuah Al Yahyai, Chairman of t Dibba Al Hisn Council, stressed the importance of Dibba Al Hisn Council carrying out its social role on the first day of Eid Al Fitr and allocating its days to receive citizens, families and their children, holding many events in a beautiful and wonderful festive atmosphere, and providing the opportunity to exchange congratulations.
