Sharjah24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department has increased the readiness of all mosques in Sharjah, particularly the prominent and vital ones, in preparation for the 27th night of Ramadan. The capacity of women's prayer halls in the emirate has been raised to 50 tents by constructing temporary prayer halls adjacent to the mosques. External courtyards have also been planned and furnished with carpets to accommodate large numbers of worshippers.
Since the beginning of Ramadan, the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department's specialized maintenance teams have completed 740 rapid maintenance response procedures, including partial, preventive, and emergency maintenance work around the clock, such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, electricity, refrigeration, and water irrigation.

More than 250 volunteers and employees have been designated to the mosques assigned for the Sharjah Reciters' activities in collaboration with the Sharjah Volunteering Center of the Sharjah Social Services Department. The prominent mosques supervise the organization of the worshippers' entry and exit from the mosques and settle the rows in the outer courtyards of the mosques that are crowded with worshippers.

Efforts have been coordinated with the Sharjah Police General Command and other relevant authorities to ensure the safety and comfort of worshippers.
