Mleiha Shooting and Swimming Championship sees great participation

During the event
Sharjah 24: The Mleiha Ramadan Joint Shooting and Swimming Championship, which came within the activities of the Mleiha Ramadan Forum, witnessed remarkable participation.
The event enhanced the successes of the forum with wide participation and notable competition in the fields of shooting and swimming, as it witnessed the holding of competitions in the Mleiha Club halls for six different age groups.

The age groups participating in the event varied to include all age groups, as the first category was allocated to children under the age of ten, while the second category was for the age group from 11 to 12 years, and the third category was for the age group from 13 to 14 years, along with more age groups of young men and women to the age of 25 years and over.

The competition was characterised by careful organisation and continuous technical follow-up, as the event stages included laser shooting, followed by swimming competitions.

The participants and audiences enjoyed the fun atmosphere and fair competition, which worked to enhance team spirit and community belonging.

The Mleiha Ramadan Joint Shooting and Swimming Championship emphasises the importance of sport in enhancing communication and meeting between individuals of different ages, and encouraging active participation in sporting activities that enhance health and physical fitness, sportsmanship and the values of cooperation and fair competition.

The results in the category under 10 years resulted in Salem Tamim Salem winning first place, second place was Mansour Hamad Tamim, and third place was Khalid Khalifa Tamim. In the category from 11 to 12 years, Salem Musabah Tamim came in first place, and Hamid Saeed Mohammed came in second place, and in third place is Dhiab Omar Saeed.

In the category from 13 to 14 years old, Mohammed Hareb Abdullah came in first place, in second place was Abdulrahman Saeed Mohammed, while third place went to Hamdan Khalifa Tamim.

In the category from 15 to 16 years old, Omar Hamed took first place and Abdullah Muhammad took second place, and in third place was Mohammed Al Qaidi.

On the category from 17 to 25 years, first place was taken by Suhail Mohammed Al Ketbi, in second place was Saif Mohammed Al Ketbi, and in third place was Omar Abdullah Al Habsi.

In the over 26 years category, Mohammed Obaid Al Ketbi came in first place, in second place was Hamdan Obaid Al Ketbi, and in third place was Ahmed Musabah Al Dahmani.

At the end of the event, Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, member of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Club and Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, honoured the winners in the six categories and praised their physical fitness, stressing the success of the event within the activities of the Mleiha Ramadan Forum, which comes to enhance community interaction and develop relations between the club and families.
