Sharjah24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department has announced its collaboration with the Sharjah Police General Command, Sharjah Volunteer Center, and other relevant groups to enhance the readiness of all the mosques in the emirate, especially the main ones. The department aims to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for worshipers to have a fulfilling experience.
To assess mosques' needs, inspection teams affiliated with Islamic Affairs are conducting inspection tours. The teams focus on mosques with large worshipers, such as Sharjah Mosque, Sheikh Saud Mosque, Al Noor Mosque, and King Faisal Mosque.

Specialised teams have started planning the external courtyards and furnishing them with carpets. They are also increasing the capacity of women's prayer rooms by setting up tents adjacent to the mosques.

To supervise the entry and exit of worshipers from the mosques and organise the rows in the outer courtyards crowded with worshipers, the department has assigned several volunteers. The Sharjah Volunteer Center of the Social Services Department collaborates with the department.
