Sharjah 24: Shaima Al Shehhi, Coordinator of seasonal programme at Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, explained that the Foundation launched the spring programme under the title “In the Shadow of its Crescent”, which will continue until March 28.
Shaima Al Shehhi said that the spring programme includes many workshops and specialised programmes that bear a Ramadan theme and aim to refine and develop girls’ talents and discover their passion.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Shehhi added that the programme includes three volunteer initiatives, which are: “Mir Ramadan” (Ramadan food supplies), in cooperation with Sharjah Charity International, a visit to a nursing home, in addition to the “Sidreh of Wishes” initiative, where girls participate in fulfilling the wishes of orphans.
Al Shehhi pointed out that the spring programme includes a carpet-making workshop, “Design and Build Programme”, and “My Craft” in cooperation with “Irthi” Foundation, in addition to the culinary arts programme, which is distributed among the three centres in Sharjah, Kalba, and Khorfakkan.
