Sharjah 24: Sheikh Dr. Salem Al-Doubi, head of the Preaching and Fatwa Section at the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah, elucidated during his simplified explanation of the Quranic verse: " Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allāh" and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised" (Surah Fussilat, verse 30). He emphasised that Ramadan is an opportunity to continue in obedience and steadfastness.
Al-Dhoubi highlighted that the criterion is to remain steadfast in obedience, worship, and acknowledging the Lordship of Allah, as well as surrendering to His command. Those who maintain steadfastness on the straight path, both in knowledge and action, will be given glad tidings in both worldly life and the Hereafter.

Sheikh Dr. Salem Al-Doubi presents a simplified interpretation of the meanings and provisions contained in verses of the Holy Quran throughout the blessed month of Ramadan. This is part of the programme "Noor Al-Quran," which airs every Monday and Wednesday of each week on "Sharjah 24" platforms.

He emphasises that this is the criterion for us to remain steadfast in obedience and to continue in worship. Ramadan is drawing to a close, but success lies in maintaining steadfastness in worship. That is why the advice of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the man who came to ask him was:  “Say I believed in Allah and then be steadfast."
