Sharjah24: As part of Sharjah's ongoing commitment to promoting culture and literature, the Sharjah Capacity Development (Tatweer) is set to hold its literary session "Rwaq " on March 23, from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM at Beit Al Hikma. Our main focus for this session will be exploring the different forms of poetry.
Poetry holds great significance in Arab culture, representing the essence of Arab identity and showcasing the remarkable eloquence and mastery of language found within the Arab community.
There are different schools and branches of poetry, each with its own group of supporters and critics. The "Rwaq" session provides a platform for participants to share their thoughts and perspectives on both modern and classical poetry schools.
The Rwaq programme is an innovative literary initiative organised by the Sharjah Capacity Development. The programme includes a variety of engaging literary activities designed to improve participants' storytelling, reading, and writing skills. The main goal is to foster a community that values literature in all its various forms. This initiative offers a chance for literature enthusiasts to participate in thought-provoking conversations on a range of subjects.
