Sharjah 24: The Suburban Councils of Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA) highlighted their pioneering role in community service, as the heads and members of the councils made multiple community visits to residents of the suburbs in the cities of Sharjah, Kalba, and Al Dhaid.
The councils include the Al Suyoh Council in Sharjah, Suhaila Council in Kalba, Al Bustan Council in AlDhaid, Kalba Council, and Al Kharoos Council in Al Dhaid.
The visits come within the efforts of the suburban councils to constantly communicate with the people, sensing their responsibility and their keenness to combine their efforts and commitment to achieving the emirate’s vision of building a cohesive and prosperous society and working to meet people’s needs within the framework of their roles.
During the visits, the council members inspected the conditions of the citizens and checked on their health. They also discussed issues and topics of concern within the framework of the jurisdiction of the suburban councils and their keenness for the councils to be the link and the effective point of communication on an ongoing basis.
During the visits, the suburban councils were keen to continue their efforts to translate the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who stresses the importance of the role of suburban councils in meeting the needs of society and serving the people of the UAE.
The people and citizens expressed their happiness with the periodic visits and their deep gratitude for the councils’ attention to their affairs, and for the tireless efforts made by those councils, stressing that such periodic visits represent an opportunity for direct communication between the families and members of the councils, and enhance the participation of the local community in decision-making and achieving sustainable development, as well as its great importance in consolidating the role of suburban councils in building an interconnected society that seeks to achieve well-being, prosperity and happiness for all its members.
