Sharjah 24: The Al Hamriyah Athletics Team won 6 gold medals, and a bronze, in the Vice President’s Cup competition, which was hosted by Al Thiqa Club for Handicapped on March 1, 2, and 3, 2024.
The 6 gold medals came from runner Muhammad Sinan in the men's 400 metres, Ashish Godin won two medals (100 metres, 200 metres) for youth, then Ahmed Omar Abdel Razzaq in the triple jump for juniors.
In the junior category, and within the hurdles race, Yahya Mohammed Saad won two gold medals (80 metres, 200 metres), while the bronze medal was won by Saif Jassim Al Balushi in the shot putter competition.
Salem Al Khayal, member of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Club, Chairman of the Individual Games and Talented Care Committee, congratulated the athletics team on the achievement, stressing that they highlight the hard work of all components of the team.
